As we age and lose agility, moving around the home, accessing day to day needs and bathing can become difficult. In fact, statistics prove that falls in the bathroom, particularly in the bathtub and the shower are a leading cause of injury among the elderly. With designs and styles for nearly any bathroom and safety that meets Americans with Disabilities (ADA) requirements, Hearts at Home will do a personalized home assessment to determine which improvements are necessary.
Bespoke accessible design
The Luster Kind is CAPS certified through the National Association of Home Builders. Our design services specialize in requirements, compliance and considerations for special needs, aging-in-place and independent living. We offer packages that tackle non-urgent and urgent obstacles and challenges associated with accessibility, mobility, safety concerns, acoustics, furniture and lighting. We also focus on color, special materials, art placement, and floral design to provide wellness, harmony, and increased productivity. Our goal is to create spaces best suited for a child’s health and welfare or an adult or elder’s health, welfare and independent living. Our designs also in-turn reduce the need for facility care costs. From people that require special considerations, to those that want to enjoy the comfort and convenience of Universal Design today, to others that are planners and understand the value of seamlessly integrating Universal Design solutions for the future, Hearts at Home offers life improvements for a variety of people.
Full-service
We offer a multi-tiered approach for maximum accessibility. In addition to full service hourly or project fee rates, Hearts at Home offers virtual design packages tailored to clients with various needs including accelerated lead times and no renovation or in-person meeting requirements. Packages are offered at a flat-fee with direct designer communication and include purchasing if requested, regardless of project location.
