Hearts at Home is a collaborative project by Nana Oldach and Laura Roberts two Interior Designers with the love and passion to enrich and changes lives through the power of design. We believe in giving back to individuals and communities through simple home modifications that can have powerful results. We strongly believe in the design and composition of a space that can be accessed, understood and utilized to the greatest extent, by all residents of a community regardless of their age, size, ability or disability.

Meet Nana

Nana Taimour Oldach is CAPS certified by the National Association of Home Builders.

Nana Taimour Oldach grew up in a household with a luxury home builder and artist|architect. With 20 years of experience in the A&D community, she has turned a passion and sense for interiors into a dream business, synthesizing her talents as an artist, interior designer and photographer. After studying directing and film production at Boston University, she shifted direction to visual interiors, spending 10 years in New York City where she spent time working with Betty Wasserman, a published interior designer and art consultant specializing in luxury loft spaces and Hamptons beach homes. While still in NYC and later in LA she also led the development and expansion of an exclusive, curated collection of artists’ wallpaper for Maharam, a leading interdisciplinary collaborator, pioneer and provider of textile and wallcovering designs.

In establishing Hearts at Home in her home town of Los Angeles, Nana has found her calling and commitment to helping clients of all abilities balance and elevate their lifestyles at home. Nana continues to hone her skills by collaborating with clients and traveling the world for inspiration and sourcing.

Meet Laura

Laura Roberts is a Los Angeles-based residential interior designer specializing in creating luxurious and livable interiors. After relocating from the East Coast in early 2000, Laura spent over 15 years working on projects worldwide for some of the most prestigious architecture and interior design firms in Los Angeles. In 2016, Laura opened her eponymous interior design firm, specializing in personalized and creative designs for all her clients. It was when her mother's health slowly began to decline that Laura realized the importance of accessible design and the lack of resources available for elders and people with disabilities to live comfortably and safely in their homes.

At Hearts at Home, we recognize that your home is a reflection of your unique personality and lifestyle. We strive to create thoughtful, personal, and distinctive environments that cater to your desires and needs. Our team is dedicated to transforming your space into one that is beautiful, as well as functional and comfortable, designed to create lasting memories for years to come.
